Audra Simmons Obituary
Rochester: October 23, 2007 age 90. God's Holy Angels carried her into the outstretched arms of the Lord. Predeceased by her husband, Charles L. Simmons. She leaves to mourn her passing her daughter, Dorothy (Walter) Moorehead; her son, Rev. Charles G. (Rachel) Simmons; devoted grandchildren, Brent and Kamaria all of Rochester; devoted great-great-grandchild, Brittney; additional 6 grand, 11 great-grand and 22 great-great-grandchildren which include Kewa Merriwether a host of nieces, nephews; cousins, Orella Johnson of Atlanta, GA and Erma Williams of Buffalo, NY; church family, neighbors and friends; special friends, Evangelist Doris Hampton of Orlando, FL and Lillie Mae Owens of Rochester, NY.
Mother Simmons will Lie in State Friday, 7-9 P.M. at Power House C.O.G.I.C., 48 Clifton St. Home Going Service, Saturday 10-11 A.M. (Viewing), Funeral Service immediately following at Aenon Baptist Church, 175 Genesee St. Interment, Riverside Cemetery.

Sorry to hear about Mother Simmons' homegoing. You and your family are in my prayers. I thank God for the time I served under this godly woman while at PowerHouse. She exhibited an awesome example of a holy woman of God. May God bless you richly.
