Charles Van Velson Obituary
"Chuck"
Greece: Peacefully, Tuesday, October 30, 2007, at age 82, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents, Adrian & Mae Van Velson; brother, James Van Velson. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 Years, Joan (Sprague) Van Velson; children, Ellen (Daniel) Osborn, Kathryn (Steve) Henderlong, Keith Van Velson of AZ; grandchildren, Alexandra Parrotta, Makenna and Gannon Osborn; brother, Robert (Dorothy) Van Velson. Chuck was a Navy Veteran serving in WWII and the Korean War. Chuck retired from Eastman Kodak Co. after 20 years of service. He was a member of the Lakeshore Country Club. BARTOLOMEO & PEROTTO Funeral Home, Inc., 1411 Vintage Lane (between 390 & Long Pond Rd.) where Family and Friends may call on Friday from 4-8 PM. All are invited to attend Chuck's Funeral Service on Saturday at 11 AM at Bethany Presbyterian Church (3000 Dewey Ave.) Interment in Falls Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Chuck's Memory to the American Lung Association, 300 Winners Circle Suite 300, Albany, NY 12205, or the American Heart Association, PO Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220-3049.

Dear Joan & Family:
We heard this morning about Chuck's passing and are deeply saddened. He was such a great and fun person, we will miss him.
We are in Atlanta visiting Bob and family and will not be able to attend the services.

We have only known you for a couple of years but it didn't take long for us to fall in love with Charles & you and to listen to his many stories and his humor. He will be missed by all of his friends in Myrtle Beach. God bless you and may he take care of you forever.
