Dear Randy, Cher, Rick and John,

This seems like such an informal way to express my condolences to you and your families, but, as I don't have your addresses, I'm grateful that I can do so in this way.

I was so very sorry to hear of your mom's death. I'm sure that you don't need anyone to tell you that your mom was a wonderful person. She was always so pleasant and cheerful and always had that big smile. I have many happy memories of the "family" gatherings we used to have. Your mom and dad were always so warm and welcoming whenever we visited their home.

I know that words can't possibly ease your sadness, but perhaps knowing that others are thinking about you and are sharing fond remberances of your mom might bring some comfort.

Please accept my sincere and deep sympathy. Joan

Dear Friend Cher:
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your Mom. It is one of the most difficult times. There is a verse from the bible I always feel is so fitting when we lose someone who has had a full life and we have to let go of them. I used to read it to my family when it was time for them to move onto the next life. Timothy 4:7 7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Our elders are a priceless value in our lives and we have to rejoice in what we shared with them and know there pain and suffering is over. They sit with our Lord and Savior in peace and joy. My prayers are with you and your family that you are all able to keep the faith. Love Carol
