Edward Stahlecker Obituary
Irondequoit. Friday, November 2, 2007 at the age of 86. Predeceased by his daughter., Maura Anne and Robert J. Stahlecker. Ed is survived by his wife of 60 years, Marie; sons, Daniel (Sandra) of CA, Edward (Sally) of OH, David (Noreen) and Michael (Kathy) Stahlecker; daughters, Patti (Bruce) Steffon and Maryanne (Brian) Etter; grandchildren, Meredith, Matthew, Andy, Anne Marie, Meaghann, Michael, Carrie, Zak, Jase, Ryan, Bridget, Sean, Colleen, Patrick and Kevin; brother, Gerald (Ruth) Stahlecker; sister, Rita Keeley; brothers-in-law, Jack (Marie) Sullivan of FL. and Joe (Joan) Sullivan of MA; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Ed was a veteran of WWII who served in the South Pacific, was a member of the American Legion, C.W. Post and worked for Dupont for 37 years. After retirement Ed became an active volunteer with Christ the King Church ministries, St. Andrew's Food Cupboard, Knights of Columbus and Meals on Wheels.
His family will receive friends Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9pm at the funeral home. Friends are invited to meet the family Wednesday 11:00am at Christ the King Church for his Funeral Mass. Interment Irondequoit Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Andrews Food Cupboard, 923 Portland Ave., Rochester, NY 14621 or Christ the King Church, 445 Kings Highway South, Rochester, NY 14617 or charity of your choice.
