Richard Start Obituary

Start, Richard William (N2BUC)
Honeoye Falls-Lima: Went to be with his Savior on November 2, 2007, at age 56, after a courageous 3-year battle with brain cancer. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen; son, D. Benjamin; father, Edward Benjamin Start; sister, Karen (Thomas) Klingenberger; aunt, Marjorie Calkins; cousins, nephews and many friends. Rich was an honorary lifetime member, and past secretary, of the Lima Gun Club. He was predeceased by his mother, Eleanor Start.
Friends are invited to call Monday 2-4, 7-9 P.M. at the O'Connell-Dougherty Funeral Home, 2041 Lake Ave., Lima (Rt. 15A, south of Rt. 5 & 20). Rich's Memorial Service will be held Tuesday at 3:30 P.M. at the Honeoye Falls United Methodist Church, 31 East St., Honeoye Falls. Private interment, Honeoye Falls Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Pluta Cancer Center, P.O. Box 18129, Rochester, NY 14618 or Vincent House Hospice, P.O. Box 566, Wayland, NY 14572.
