Gates: November 4, 2007. JoJo is survived by her husband Joseph "Joey" Sasso; children, Joanna (John Parrone) Dana, Alphonse J. (ChrisAnn) Sasso, Dolores "DeDe" (Ricky) Grosser, Sam (Judi) Dana; grandchildren, Elyse (Mark) Cardarelli, Patrick (Janine Keur) Dana, Chrysta (Brian) Gilbert, Joel Vito Sasso, Alphonse Sasso, Cassandra Sasso, Gianna Grosser, Milan Grosser, Joey Grosser, Natalie (Phil) Molinaro, Steven Parrone; great-grandchildren, Alexis Cardarelli & Chrisanna Gilbert; mother Dolores Lingesso; brother Carl (Gay) Lingesso; sister-in-law Louise (Charles) Gallina; brother-in-law Albert Capuano; many Nieces, Nephews and Dear Friends. BARTOLOMEO & PEROTTO Funeral Home, Inc., 1411 Vintage Lane, where JoJo's visitation will be Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9. Prayers will be Thursday 9:20AM from the Funeral Home, followed by JoJo's Funeral Mass 10AM at St. Jude the Apostle Church, 4100 Lyell Rd. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Cancer Society, 1400 Winton Rd., N., Rochester, NY 14609 in JoJo's memory.

JoJo lit up whatever room she walked into... she just made you feel hugged and special. Whomever she embraced had her love forever, and my husband, Joe, and I are so very grateful to have called her friend. Our wonderful faith tells us that one day we will all be together in a place beautiful beyond imagination at the party of our lives with perfect happiness in all of us. How cool is that! And JoJo Sasso is among the first we’ll look to see, dressed in a perfectly gorgeous gown and making sure everyone feels the joy all around. Catholic friends, please offer Holy Masses for Jo and for all our loved ones... THAT’S the gift that keeps on giving.

My condolences to the family for JoJo, she was one of the most "genuine" people i ever met! i remember all of the cookies, ect. that she made for my wedding. she truly was a wonderful person.
