Catherine Stanton Obituary
Hilton: Peacefully, Sunday, November 4, 2007. Predeceased by her parents, Lawrence and Catherine Cavanagh; brother, Thomas Cavanagh; niece, Maureen Olszewski; grandson, Todd Loel Stanton. Survived by her children, Cathy Johnson, Bob (Beth) Stanton, Tom (Audrey) Stanton, Eileen (Mike) Sengillo; brother, Leo (Lois) Cavanagh of Chicago; sister-in-law, Joan Cavanagh; grandchildren, Stephanie & Brendan Johnson, Morgan & Bryce Stanton, Jennifer, Mike, Laura & Jessica Stanton, Shanna, Ryan & Kristyn Sengillo; great-grandson, Cameron Johnson-Carter; special friends, Beth & Kelly Davis, Pat Weber; caregivers, Karen Mellama, Courtney Kanous & Mary Beth Butler; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Catherine was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company. The family would like to thank the nursing staff at Unity Hospital 2400 for the special care given to Catherine.
Friends may call Wednesday 4-8 PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday 10:00 AM at St. Lawrence Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Franciscan Mission House, 517 Washington Ave., Rensselaer, NY 12144 in her memory. Mom-
She was always there for me when I needed her, she was my best-friend and my role model. I will never forget all the memories we've shared all the good times and the bad. She meant the world to me and its so hard to go on without her. I will miss her Smile, her hugs and her laughter, her tears, her fears and most of all the Warmth and Joy she gave to my Heart and how proud I was to say that's my Mom. She taught Me, Stephanie, Brendan and Cameron so much and we are so thankfull to have had her beside us all those years with all these memories that we will cherish and treasure for a Lifetime.

Great Grandma -
I will always remember her because my Mommy will never let me foget the Kind-hearted, Loving, Wonderfull and Amazing woman that she was. She will always be in my Heart Forever. I was her Sweetie and My Smile took away her Fears. I Love You Great-Grandma Always and Forever!

Grandma-
She meant the world to me and I will carry throughout life all the things she has taught me. She was my best friend and my 2nd mom. She were always there and for that I am very Gratefull to have had her in my life. I am also so gratefull that she was able to have Cameron in her life who brightened her everyday with his Beautiful Smile, she called him Sweetie and he will never forget her. We will miss you so much and we will Love You Forever!
