Louie B-you have been my insured for approx. 14 of the 17 years I have been selling insurance. I remember the first time you came in our office in Irondequoit tracking mud all the way-that was our first meeting of many. I was so scared of you but as time passed I got to know you and how wonderful you were. Rest in peace with your mom and may god bless all that you have touched.

I closed all of Louie's homes when Attorney John F. Redmond was his attorney. His closings took an upwards of 3 hours to close (for different reasons) and I would complain to John Redmond after each closing and finally, John Redmond said to me, "Lisa, let me tell you a story about Louie Bacchetta ... I was closing on a deal for Louie and I happened to have my mother with me at the time and she was talking with Louie looking at his brand new cadillac he just purchased and my mother expressed how beautiful the car was and how much she liked it. Just then, Louis took his brand new car keys out of his pocket and said to my mother, 'It's yours, take it'. That is a story I will always remember about Louie and what a truly giving person he was. I am sure John Redmond remembers that story even to this day. I am thankful for the opportunity to meet, work with and know Louie Bacchetta. May he rest in peace.

We grew up in the same house on Avery Street I was upstairs and you were downstairs. You were my older cousin, and when our cousin came from Italy and I gave up my bedroom, we shared yours. My memories of that are singing popular songs before falling asleep and our fathers yelling at us to stop.
We then moved and lived side by side on Ridgeway Avenue in houses built by our fathers who were inseperable.
Now you are upstairs and I am downstairs, and at some future time we will be together again side by side, singing once more, and this time our fathers will join in.

Lou, being cousins, we’ve know each other all our lives. It seems like yesterday, we lived nearby, growing-up as kids when you and your first cousins Robert and Richard lived on Avery Street, and my family near-by at Mt. Read & Emerson.
You’re Mom and Dad, Emilio & Mary, your Dad’s brother Nazareth & your aunt Josephine, with Robert and Richard would get together on Holidays and some weekends along with my Mom & Dad John & Mary, along with my brothers Roy, & Nate and our sister Lecia. Not to mention the good-times the families had together and playing bocce in the field across the street from your home on Avery Street.
We’re all sure that your Mom & Dad, along with your Uncle Nazareth, Aunt Josephine, and cousin Robert at this moment are all-together welcoming you.
God-Bless cousin Lou; our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family you left here on earth.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Lou;
You built my house with skill and craftsmanship. You were always there to help anyone. You had a big heart. You were a man's man. For the last 25 years our friendship grew. You touched many hearts with your kindness and thoughtfulness. I will miss you very much. I know that my son Tommy is with you right now, showing you the ropes in Heaven. I will see you someday my good friend. Until then, you will forever be in my thoughts and always in my heart. Rest in peace my friend.
