Mr. and Mrs. Farley,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My deepest condolences go out to you and the rest of your family. I did not know Matthew but have many fond memories of a great mechanical drawing / architecture teacher who cared about kids and made a difference. I just wanted you to know that you will be in my prayers.

I send my deepest condolences to Matt's family and Friend. He was one of the sweetest people I have ever had the pleasure in meeting. As Matt said it himself: "you'll never find someone quite like me. :)" And as he talked about his future: "Still no idea where I'm going to end up, but I know God will lead me in the right direction." He never had anything negative to say and was always there when someone was in need. Matt you are an incredible individual that will be so dearly missed. We love you Matt! Keep riding, Keep smiling, and Keep taking care of those you loved. You never said the words "Goodbye" when ending an email or text message, it was always, "Catch ya!"...And so, with all my love and prayers to Matt's family and friends, This isn't a Goodbye...I'll "Catch ya!" Matt. God Bless.

When I think of Matt I'm warmed with lots of great memories of what a truly kind and guinuine person he was. My favorite memory lends me some comfort now. One night Matt and I must have walked three miles out of Old Town and as it got darker the stars seemed to multiply. He talked about how back home the night sky was even brighter. We both agreed that it's amazing that people are able to disregard God when they look up and see all those beautiful stars. I saw a little bit of what was really in Matt's heart during that conversation. I feel like God left me with that little moment to tell me he's just taken Matt home. I know that with out a doubt Matt is in heaven and it makes me smile and cry at the same time. My prayers are with your family Matty.

Matthew,
It has taken all of me to trust in God for this one. I know you are in a better place looking over all who loved you. We shared so much from so far away and I am thankful for that. You are an amazing person with one of the biggest hearts. I only hope that I can be as kind, caring, sincere, thoughtful, as great as you. I will miss you more than you will ever know! But I promise you that you will ALWAYS have a huge part of my heart. Every time I say, "Are we doing this?" I will always think of you =)
To Matthew's Family:
I know you guys know what a great son you had. I just wanted to tell you that we did talk a lot about family and one of the reasons he never moved away after he got back from Arizona was because he was too close to you guys and he couldn't bare to leave you. I know he told me that his dad was his best friend. We shared a lot of deep emotions and I found out what a great guy he was and how much he loved and was thankful for his family. I will keep his memory alive for you. This is a hard loss and I only hope you the best. And may time heal us all. My greatest condolences to you.
Love,
Whitni Markotic,

I worked with Matt at Moreland's Landscape for a short time and we became kindered spirits. We shared the same interests and could easily share with each other. I am so sorry to hear about the accident but also know for certain that God has taken him home and none of us knows when or how this will happen. It is all about trusting God. My prayers are with you and the family.

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
