Carl Laemlein Obituary

Laemlein, Carl James "Jim"
Honeoye Falls: November 5, 2007 at age 83. Jim was a lifelong Honeoye Falls resident; a 25-year member of the Honeoye Falls Fire Department where he was a former Captain; a member of the former American Legion Post 664 in Honeoye Falls and was very active in the local historical society. Jim was a WW II Army Veteran of the 13th Infantry Regiment of the 8th Infantry Division. He was stationed in Normandy, Northern France, The Rhineland and Central Europe. Jim owned and operated a plumbing and heating company in the area for many years.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Wanda. His children John (Lee Mullen) Laemlein, Robert (Jean) Laemlein, Mary (Douglas) Ross, Nancy (Robert Begg) Laemlein and Thomas Laemlein; grandchildren, Lindsay, Sarah, Catherine Ross; Jessi Laemlein, Kelly Mullen, Frederick Tan and Maribel Laemlein . Sister Frances (William) Oosterling; brother, Larry T. O'Brien; sister-in-law Mary Kling and brothers in law Stanley Zajonczkowski and Walter Zajonczkoski. Several nieces & nephews
No prior calling. Services and burial at St. Rose Cemetery, Lima will be held privately. Friends wishing may make memorials to the Honeoye Falls Fire Department, 7 Monroe Street; Honeoye Falls Mendon Volunteer Ambulance, P.O Box 335, Honeoye Falls, NY 14472 or to the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Road, Fairport, NY 14450.

Sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I did paint removal for Jim in Lima when he did antrquie work. He used to stop in with his coffee and talk. Again, sorry.
