Walker, Esther Meulendyke Boekhout (Stevenson)
Marion: Age 84. Entered into rest peacefully at home on November 7, 2007. Predeceased by husbands Lee Boekhout in 1970 and Allen "Bud" Walker in 1993. Survived by children, Linda Boekhout (George) Stevenson of Williamson. NY, Allen (Diane) Walker, Jr. of Rose/Ovid, NY, Cheryl Walker (Richard) Fisher of Williamson, NY, & Robert (Sharon) Walker of Newark, NY; cherished grandchildren, Christopher Stevenson of Painesville, OH and Stuart Lee Stevenson of Williamson, NY; Bryon Walker of Rose, NY & Stacey A. Walker, M.D of Elmira, NY, Hillary, Eric, Tabitha & Caitlin Walker; and many good friends.
At Esther's request, there will be no calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of her life on Sunday, November 11 at 2:00 p.m. at the 2nd Reformed Church, 3757 Mill St., Marion, NY 14505. Interment in the Marion Cemetery at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Esther's memory to the 2nd Reformed Church; Williamson Volunteer Ambulance, 6334 Bennett Street, Williamson, NY 14589; or the Roosevelt Children's Center, 848 Pierson Ave.., Newark, NY 14513.
