Wilson, William B., Jr.
Barefoot Bay, FL 11/5/07, after a long illness. Formerly a resident of the Rochester, NY area. Predeceased by parents William and Gertrude and brother Gerald. Survived by wife Helene, brother Jack (Barb), former wife Joyce (nee McKain) and children John (Elizabeth) of Glen Burnie, MD, Elizabeth (Daniel) Feeney, Kathleen (Thomas) Gosper both of Rochester, NY, Michael (Michelle) of Ruckersville, VA, grandchildren, John (Rachael), Kathleen, Kyle, Kelli, Mark, Patricia, Zachary, Joshua and Jacob. He'll be missed by cousins, nieces, nephews and many treasured friends. Born 1936 in British Columbia, raised in St. Catherines, Ontario, he made Hilton, Canadice, NY and Barefoot Bay, FL home. A Canadice town councilman 1985-86 and Eastman Kodak Company retiree. Bill loved life and enjoyed golfing as a member at Lakeshore CC, NY and Barefoot Bay, FL CC, camping, hunting, fishing, skiing, hockey, sailing, softball, bowling, being a bear and most of all pickin' on the banjo and guitar with his Justamere Band at many bluegrass festivals with the "third shift" pickers both in Canada and those hosted at his Canadice home.
In lieu of flowers, consider donating in his memory to Sally Edelman & Harry Gardner Cancer Research Foundation, Box 97, Hilton, NY 14468 (http://edelmancrf.org/). Friends and family are invited to celebrate his life at 2:00 pm, November 23, Hilton Fireman's Exempt. Direct inquiries to 585-865-4906.
