Dorothy Christiaansen Obituary
Macedon: November 9, 2007, age 81. Predeceased by husband, Abraham Christiaansen, brother: Robert Wendt, sister: Laura Mae Hoad. Survived by special niece and nephew, Sandi (Pat) Kelly and Kirk (Linda) Wendt, great nieces; Stacy (Don) Arnold, Amanda Wendt, great nephews; Kevin (Teri) Kelly, Shawn Kelly and Trevor Wendt. Sisters; Phyllis (Lewis) Martz and Jean (Carl) Root, Brothers: Russell Wendt and Leslie Wendt. Many other nieces and nephews. A retired American Can Co. employee. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Philip Steiger Unit #494 of Macedon and Macedon Senior Citizens.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday November 13, 2007 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Payne & Murphy Funeral Home 1040 Rt. 31 Macedon.
Funeral will be held at the St. Johns Lutheran Church 153 Church Ave., Farmington on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at 1PM with burial at the Macedon Center Cemetery. Donations may be made to the American Legion Auxiliary Philip Steiger Unit #494 at 76 Main St., Macedon, NY 14502 in her memory.
