Survived by wife, Bonnie Lou Hymes; children, Priscilla, Michael, Jr., Brandon, Akeiba; 8 grandchildren; his mother, Jimmie Lee Hicks; father, Luther Hymes; brother, Marvin; sisters, Sharon, Deborah, Brenda and Irene all of Rochester; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and close friends.
Calling hours Monday 7-9 PM at Amazing Grace Church, 972 Hudson Ave. Funeral Services Tuesday 11 o'clock at Progessive C.O.G.I.C., 384 Chili Ave. Ref. Regency Funeral Chapel.

Akeiba I know u dont know me like that but we went to school at Jefferson high school together around the time u lost your father Im so sorry for your loss and I know this happened years ago but the hurt never goes away I just wanted to send my condolences and my respect to u n your family Im so sorry u had to go thru such a tragedy so young may God bless your whole family.. I just want to thank everyone for their support! and to the family I LOVE all of You and wouldn't have it no other way in case anyone was uncertain about what my Big Mike was trying to do let me be the one to tell you he was trying to get everyone prepared. The LORD used him and he definitely did his work, and I just want for everyone to work on getting on the same page so we to can prepare ourselves for our BIG day as Big Micheal did. Hello aunt bonnie and family, I am so sorry for what happend to big mike, I just found out today from gemayel that he died. He thought I had known but I didn't. It hurts me so much deep in my heart that I couldn't be there, If I had known sooner you know that I would have been there for you and the family in a heart beat just like you were there for me for many many years.I love you all and I will be visiting you very soon.
