Keegan, John A.
Greece: Saturday, November 10, 2007 at age 91. Predeceased by his wife, Anna M. Keegan. Survived by his children, Mary Ann (Donald) Fisher, Dorothy Keegan, Eileen (Lawrence) Bauer & James B. Keegan; brothers, Robert (Frances) Keegan & Arthur Keegan; grandchildren, Lisa (Kevin) Black, James (Holly) Fisher, John Fisher, Jason (Tracy) Fisher & Stephen (Gabriela Sandoval) Bauer; great-grandchildren, Julie, Amanda, Jacob & Gavin; several nieces, nephews and cousins. John is a Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Navy.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to the caregivers on the 4th floor of Kirkhaven Nursing Home for the great care given to John over the past several months.
Friends may call Tuesday 4-7 P.M. at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated, Wednesday 12 NOON in the Chapel of St. Ann's Home, 1500 Portland Avenue, Rochester NY 14621. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Your dad was a wonderful man. I knew him while he worked with my dad Frank Esse, as I also worked in the same office for a while. I got to know both of your parents when they lived next to my parents at Veldor Park Condos. I remember many occasions sharing stories with your parents. I know that my parents, who have also passed on, were very fond of both of your parents. I respect your dad as an honest hardworking realtor and a kind and gentle person. I hope he didn't suffer.
