Sherry Case Obituary

Case, Sherry L.
Bath, NY: 64, of Circle Drive, Bath, NY, died Sunday November 11, 2007 at Alice's Rest Home in Avoca, NY. She was born in Penn Yan, NY the daughter of the late Malcolm Covert and Doris (Smith) Covert. She was a member of the St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Bath. She had taught at Western Pennsylvania School for the deaf from 1964-65. Sherry had co-founded the Wee-Lad and Lassie Play School in 1963 in Penn Yan. She was a retired Teacher's Assistant from Haverling Central School in Bath.
She is survived by her mother and step father, Doris (Don) Covert Barcliff; two daughters, Sara (Ted) Rosno of Bradford, NY and Amy Case of Corning, NY, two grandchildren, Bret Rosno and Alex Rosno of Bradford, NY; three brothers, Malcolm (Oneita)Covert of Farmington, NY, Jan Covert of Florida and Tim (Mary Jo) Covert of Geneva, NY, several nieces and nephews and special friends, Dick and Dawn Fitzwater. She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest Case, father Malcolm Covert, mother-in-law, Eleanor Frisk and father-in-law Ernest Case.
A memorial service will be held on Monday November 19th at 11:00 am at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Bath with Reverend J. Brad Benson officiating. Fagan's Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Sherry's name may be made to the Alice's Rest Foundation Comfort Home Inc. 8904 Cook Road, Avoca, New York 14809.
