Welch, Nathaniel
Rochester: November 15, 2007. Nate died peacefully at home after a long battle with cancer. Predeceased by his parents, 6 brothers and 4 sisters. He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Peggy); sons, Aaron (U.S. Navy) and his wife, Stephanie of Mukilteo, WA, Michael (U.S. Marines) of Quantico, VA; daughter, Tanya of Rochester; 2 brothers, Cornelius (Betty) and Thomas; sister, Ernestine Wims, all of Rochester; brothers-in-law, Richard (Bette) Eiseman of Wexford, PA, Donald Eiseman of Williamson, NY and Lawrence Eiseman of Pasadena, MD; sisters-in-law, Laura (Darrell) Freeman of Dardanelle, AR, Mary (Kevin) Maltzahn of Webster, NY and Sara (Scott) Palmer of Lyons, NY; 4 grandchildren; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by many friends at RTS, 98th Division Army Reserve Band and Lifespan (Downtown).
Special "thank you" to Becky and Lynn of Visiting Nurse Service Hospice Care.
The family will receive friends on Monday, 2-4 & 6-9PM at the funeral home where Nathaniel's life will be remembered and celebrated on Tuesday at 11AM. Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery. To leave a special memory or condolence please visit:

Peggy I am so sorry for your loss. I didn't find out until the evening of 11/18. I think of you both often & wish I would have kept in touch. Nate was a wonderful man & will be missed. My thoughts are with you and your family. Always, Eve

Sorry about Nate's passing.
As Ma said several times over the years,
"Nate is a good man.".
And as Warren is understood to have said all those years ago,
"Nate's a good guy.".
Let us hope that Nate is 'up there'
and that he is
putting in a good word
for those of us still 'down here'!.
