Morris Strosberg Obituary

Strosberg, Morris
Miramar, Florida: Morris Strosberg, 98, of Florida and formerly of Utica, passed away peacefully, Friday, November 16, 2007, at his residence in Florida.
He was born March 23, 1909, in Poland, the son of the late Joseph and Esther Kwasniefsky Strosberg and was educated in Poland. After surviving the Holocaust, Morris came to the United States in the 1940's. He married Martha Berkowitz. Martha passed away June 25, 1974. Morris later married Frieda Berkowitz.
Morris owned and operated the former Alan's Furniture Store, Utica. He was a former member of Congregation Zvi Jacob.
He is survived by his wife, Frieda of New Haven, CT, his daughter and son-in-law, Deanna and Howard Luntz of Pittsford, NY; his son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Alan and Paula Strosberg of Tucson, AZ; his brother, Willam Strosberg of Miramar, FL.; his grandchildren and their spouses, Robert and Wendy Rogachefsky, Dr. Arlene Rogachefsky and David Black, Stephen and Melanie Strosberg and Michelle Strosberg; his great grandchildren, Hannah and Evan Rogachefsky, Mitchell and Ellie Black and Samara and Ryan Strosberg; two nephews and a niece. Morris was predeceased by three brothers and three sisters.
His graveside service will be 1 PM, TODAY, in Tifereth Zvi Cemetery, Wood Road, Whitesboro, with Rabbi Howard Matasar, officiating. Shiva will be observed 7-9PM Monday, 2-4PM Tuesday, 7-9PM Wednesday and 10:30-12PM, Friday at the home of Deanna and Howard Luntz, 3658A Monroe Ave, Apt. 32, Pittford, NY.
His funeral arrangements are with Jacobson-Pizer Funeral Chapel, Inc., 1123 Court Street, Utica. Online memorials may be offered by visiting www.jacobsonpizerchapel.com.
