Ramon Padilla Obituary
Rochester: Passed away November 20, 2007, at age 84. Predeceased by his daughter, Migdalia; brothers, Lalo, Jose, Andre & Jose. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Francisca; their children, Lydia Otero, Judy Padilla, Raymond Padilla Jr., Gloria Marrero, Nancy Padilla, Danny Padilla, Nydia (John Rodriguez) Padilla-Rodriguez, Lucy (Orland) Dennis, Linda (Michael Mazzeo) Padilla-Mazzeo & Anthony Padilla; grandchildren, Lisa (Steve) Singleton, George, Raymond, Joseph, Rachel, Maria, Crystal, Raymond, Jeanette (Jeremiah) Ridgeway, David, Melony, Jalen & Michael; 24 great-grandchildren; brothers & sister, Efrain, Edwardo & Migdalia; nephews, David Zambrana & Hector Figueroa.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Darren Hernandez, Sergio Rojas, Ramon Hernandez & Miguel Berrios for their compassionate care.
Family and friends are invited to call Sunday, 4-8:30 PM at Miller Funeral Homes (3325 Winton Road South). Ramon's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, 11:15 AM at Holy Apostle Church (530 Lyell Avenue). Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mary Cariola Children's Center. For directions or to leave a message of condolence please visit:

I am sorry I did not make it to either the Wake or Funeral of your father, Ramon. I have been where you are now, with losses in my family over the years; so I know the deep feeling of losing a beloved one, especially this time of year. Know that there is a higher authority keeping watch over you, and heal. Then you have Family and Friends with shoulders to comfort you, right now. So, keep your head held high and "Let go, Let God" take care of your sorrows. Again, I am so sorry for your loss, and many prayers go up for you all.

Padilla Family, our families have been through many good times together. We've shared many things that families share we've also lost loved ones that we so dearly love.These patriarks of the family are the foundation to our extended lives.
