Mary Duford Obituary
Irondequoit: Thursday, November 22, 2007, at the age of 84. Predeceased by her husband, John and her brother, Bill. Mrs. Duford is survived by her children, James Matthew, John, Catherine, Bill; and her 8 grandchildren.
No prior calling. Friends are invited to meet the family FRIDAY, 11:00 AM at SPIRITUS CHRISTI CHURCH for her memorial mass. Memorials may be directed to Spiritus Christi Church, 121 North Fitzhugh Street, Roch., NY 14604, or Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired, 422 Clinton Ave S, Roch., NY.

Much heartfelt sympathy and empathy to the family. It was a surprise to hear of Mary Ellen's passing---she was so supportive of my brothers and me when our mom died earlier this year. We grew up with all the "pot luck" friends and miss them all very much. One of my favorite memories of Mrs. Duford was her attending my swim meets when we competed at & against Irondequoit HS (I attended Penfield HS). She was a great lady and much loved by our family.

I was shocked to hear of the passing of dear Mrs Duford, friend of my late Aunt Margaret Andronaco. Mrs Duford has always been very kind to me and my family, and in the last couple of years I have enjoyed a friendship with her, especially since Aunt M's passing last winter.Mrs Duford was a warm, kind, friendly person, always so chipper and happy. I will miss her. My sympathies.
