Barbara Muratore Obituary

Muratore, Barbara B.
Rochester, NY:
11/26/42 - 11/26/07, suddenly after a brief illness at the age of 65. She is predeceased by her parents, Harold & Irene Beck. She is survived by her devoted husband of 42 years, Paul M. Muratore. She is the beloved, mother of Cynthia, Matthew (Christine) Muratore, and their daughter, Brandy Lynn. She is also survived by other family members and special friends.
Barb was a retired math teacher from the Spencerport School District, an accomplished artist, a member of Suburban Rochester Art Group, Genesee Valley Plein-Air Painters, and Indian Rocks Art Group in Florida. She has paintings on display at the Renaissance Art Gallery. She also loved to travel the south west, was an avid athlete who especially enjoyed golf, and loved spending time with her family.
Friends may call THURSDAY, 2-4 & 7-9 at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Rd. On FRIDAY, her Memorial Mass will be celebrated in St. Lawrence Church (1000 N. Greece Rd.) at 11 AM. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. For those wishing, memorials may be made to Step by Step, 228 S. Plymouth Ave., Rochester, NY 14608 or to a charity of your choice.
