Helen Becker Obituary

Becker, Helen M. (Millar)
Irondequoit: Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at the age of 93. Predeceased by her husband Edward R. Becker and her daughters Mary and Margaret Becker. Mrs. Becker is survived by her sons, John E. (Dolores), Fred H. (Virginia) and Robert G. (Marcia) Becker; grandchildren, Shannon (Michael) Monington, Brandon (Caryn), Christine, Guinevere and Helen Becker. Mrs. Becker was a noted artist and member of the Irondequoit Art Club, lifelong member of AAUW and a member of St. Marks and St. John's Episcopal Church.
No prior visitation. A celebration of life will be held for Helen M. Becker Saturday, 2:00 PM at St. Marks & St. John's Episcopal Church. Interment will be held in private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Mark's & St. John's Episcopal Church, 1245 Culver Rd. Rochester, NY 14609 or Rochester General Hospital's Cardiac Care Unit, 1425 Portland Ave., Rochester, NY 14621 or a charity of your choice.

Dearest Fred, Ginny and Guin,

We so sorry to hear of Helen's passing. We know she was a cherished Mother and Grandmother. I wish our family had had a chance to meet her, but we know she will live on in your hearts. We are so glad you are able to be there with the rest of your family at this time.
