I have known Marion for 20 plus years. She and Paul moved into the house next door to me some time in the 80's. They were the best neighbors that a person could ever ask for. I shared many laughs with Marion and it was a sad day when they were no longer my neighbors. I remember one particular situation that required me to scold Marion - I was in the process of mowing my lawn and for some reason Marion decided to clean out the downspout on their gutter - well low and behold, she got her hand stuck in the downspout and of course I could not hear her calling for help over the noise of the mower. I finally saw her standing on the ladder and stopped the tractor to see what she was doing and it was then that I found out her hand was stuck. We finally got her hand out and I had to give her a lecture about getting on the ladder. My sympathies to her family, she will be greatly missed - our loss is heavens gain.
