Isabel Omecinskyj Obituary
Irondequoit: Sunday, December 2, 2007. Predeceased by her husband Zenon. Mrs. Omecinskyj is survived by her 2 sons, Wolodymyr (Marie) and Roman Omecinskyj; grandson Michael; several nieces & nephews In Poland, Ukraine & U.S. Isabel retired from the Rochester City School District as a Librarian, member of P.L.A.S.T. She also taught Ukrainian school at St. Josaphat's and was active with arts & crafts specializing in Trypillian.
Her family will receive friends WEDNESDAY 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the funeral home. (Panachyda 7pm) Panachyda will be held THURSDAY 10:00 am followed by her Divine Liturgy at 10:30 at the UKRAINIAN CATHOLIC CHURCH OF EPIPHANY. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Children of Chornobil or Harvard University Dept. of Ukrainian Studies.
