Flora Arthur Obituary
Penfield: Dec. 3, 2007. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Alexander Arthur, Jr.; her children, Douglas (Mildred) Arthur, Debra (Gary) Fisher, Laurie (Tim) MaGuire, & Sandra (Wes) Rosengrant; 7 grandchildren & 9 great-grandchildren. Flora loved music & played both the organ and bagpipes. Flora was a member of First Presbyterian Church of East Rochester & a member of Starlight Chapter #507, O.E.S. She was also a Past Matron and a Past Grand Musician, O.E.S.
Friends will be received SATURDAY (12/15) from NOON to 3 PM at CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, 495 N. Winton Rd. (between Browncroft & Humboldt), where an Eastern Star Service will follow calling hours at 3 PM. Private interment White Haven Memorial Park. For those wishing, please consider honoring Flora with a donation to the Masonic Service Bureau (979 Bay Rd., Webster 14580) or the Eastern Star Home (POB 959, Oriskany, NY 13424). Dear Alex and family
Maura and I were so sorry when we heard about Flora. We shall always remember you for the wonderful times we spent at Sugar Creek. They were truly memorable and great summers. We had hoped to be able to attend the calling hours but I have to go to Mass. this weekend with Jim and Mike to see my sister who is ill. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you. Bill & Maura

Flora, eventhough I was not able to spend much time with you, I appreciate so much how you accepted my brother and I as your grandchildren, and more importantly my kids as your great grandchildren. My mother could not have married a better man than your son Douglas, which is a testament to you and Alex, as good examples of parenting. Rest in Peace. Thanks for all the fun memories of my childhood, the years of friendship, and a special thanks for the music you put into my life. My sympathy to the Arthur family on the loss of "Aunt" Flora. She will surely be missed.
