Mary Dennis Obituary
Rochester: December 4, 2007. Predeceased by her son, George Dennis. Forever cherished by her children, Willis (Lisa) Dennis, Matthew Dennis, Christopher Bowick and Keyonia (Schattakka) Dennis; daughters, Theresa Bowick, Brenda Bennett and Robin Shields; 17 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; her mother, Mattie Lou Bennett; godson, Lewis Banks; special son-in-law, Emmanuel Smith; and a host of other relatives.
The family will receive friends on Friday, 2-4 & 6-9 at Goodwill Missionary Baptist Church, 111 Clifton Street, where Mother Dennis' Homegoing Celebration will be held on Saturday at 11AM. To me, Mary Dennis will always be Ms. Mary. She was the true mother of Arch St., where I have lived and known her my entire life. The street will never be the same without her. She will be missed and loved forever. May the Lord be with the family during this difficult time. You are all in my heart and prayers. Rest in Peace Ms. Mary!

I am so sorry for your loss! Mrs. Mary was such a special person!Knowing her and the fanily since I was three years old, she has always been there. I remember the birthday parties at her house, the talks on her porch, and her great love for the Lord. I even remember her support and ecouragement for me to continue on when my Daddy passed away. She will always be missed and loved by the entire Willoughby family. I love you Mrs. Mary!!! Rest in Peace!
