Wilbert Jackson
December 10, 2007
Peter and I started training together at SCC Transit District in April of 1980. I hadn't seen Pete since that time because I went into maintenance and didn't know he had retired. I saw the notice about his death a few days ago. He was a great friend and co-worker. We both were the first 2 drivers to drive the 22 line when it went 24 hours, I drove all night for 2 days while Pete sat point in the busyard all night. I used to chide him about that and then we laughed about how refreshed he felt after being up all night. I will miss him dearly and I extend my warmest condolenses to the family.
