John Knisley Obituary
Brighton: Mr. Knisley died Tuesday, December 11, 2007, at The Friendly Home surrounded by the love of his family. He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret W. Knisley; a granddaughter, Michelle L. Putney; and brother, Elgene Knisley of Hamburg, NY. He is survived by Hortense Andross, a very dear friend; his daughter, Nancy K. (Roger L.) Martin of Madrid, NY; his son, Jeffrey W. Knisley of Pittsford, NY; two grand-daughters, Megan M. Putney and Kolby R. Knisley; one grandson, John W. Knisley; two sisters, Kathleen K. Blackburn of Baltimore, MD, and Marietta (Howard) Searles of Odessa, NY; a sister-in-law, Norma (Jack) Flannery of Fairport; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Thursday, December 13, from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at Zornow-Hedges Funeral Home, 21 Lincoln Ave., Pittsford. (Off Main Street, South of four corners). His Memorial Service will be held Friday at 10:00 A.M. at the First Presbyterian Church of Pittsford, 21 Church St., Pittsford. Private Interment, White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu flowers, contributions may be made to Pittsford Hockey.
The family would like to acknowledge the compassionate care extended to Mr. Knisley by the staff at Glenmere Assisted Living and The Friendly Home.
