Harriet Hopeman Obituary
Morgan
Rochester: December 8, 2007, at the age of 93. She was born on September 12, 1914 in Rochester, the daughter of Henry Ward Morgan and Anna Messner Morgan. She was raised in Rochester and attended the Eastman School of Music, entering in 1933, where she was a piano student of Cecile Genhart. She married Albert A. Hopeman Jr. in Rochester in 1936.
Mrs. Hopeman's husband, Albert A. Hopeman, Jr., predeceased her in 1998. Surviving Mrs. Hopeman are sons Arendt III of Shanghai, China, Bertram of Bozeman, MT and Henry of Winston-Salem, NC, 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Eastman School of Music, 26 Gibbs Street, Rochester, NY 14604.
A Memorial Service will be held at the University of Rochester Interfaith Chapel on Saturday, December 15 at 10:00 AM.
