Sara Phillips Obituary
Columbus, IN: Formerly of Avon, NY. Monday, December 10, 2007, age 76. Survivors include her husband, Douglas C. Phillips, Sr. of Columbus; daughters, Allie (Ted) Zaharako of Columbus, Sara (Chris) Gladwell of Burlington, KY; son, Douglas C. (Jane) Phillips, Jr. of Avon, NY; 4 grandchildren.She was a graduate of Potsdam University and St. Lawrence University.Mrs. Phillips was a music teacher for 20 years having taught in LaFargeville & Delmar, NY.She was also employed by Potsdam University Crane School of Music as a student teacher supervisor and was Head Librarian at Carthage Free Library in Carthage, NY.
Memorial Service will be conducted at 4 P.M. Saturday Hathaway-Myers Chapel, 1022 Pearl Street Columbus, IN. Calling from 3 P.M. to service. Memorials may be made to Avon (NY) United Methodist Church Piano Fund.
