While I didn't know Tennille very well, I did have the opportunity to play with her in the Utah Valley Handbell Choir before she left us for the Bells on Temple Square. Since we were on opposite ends of the bells, there wasn't many chances for us to interact but I was always impressed by her spirit, playfulness, and that sparkle in her eyes. A few weeks ago she subbed for Karen and the choir and did an outstanding job. I will forever remember our phone conversation after rehersal that night. I feel very priviledge to be a part of the choir that will honor her life and cherish the opportunity to play a small part in her funeral services. She will be greatly missed.

We were greatly saddened to learn about Tennille. We knew her through several groups here at the Cancer Wellness House, as well as her arranging for the Utah Valley Bell Choir to play at our Christmas party, a beautiful and memorable experience for all. We will never forget her fun spirit, gentle words, encouragement to others, and her love of music. Our prayers are with you.

Tennille worked briefly in the Environmental Resources Division with the Bureau of Reclamation in SLC over a year ago. She was a lot of fun and we enjoyed getting to know her. Inspite of her illnesses, she was always positive and eager to share her insights into the various projects we were working on. She was far too young to leave us but we know she is free from pain and in a better place. We send our condolences to the family and hope you will be comforted by the wonderful memories you created with Tennille. Regards, Randy Peterson (Mgr.) and staff (Nancy, Dennis, Karen, Linda, Amy, Mark, Dave, and Mike).

Tennille was one of my very best friends in high school. I have actually known her since we were in the 4th grade together. She was always a great friend. We used to spend a lot of time together. She and I used to laugh until we would cry. Bucket, you will be greatly missed!

To Tennille's Family,

I got to know Tennille over the last year working with her at Maxim. She always smiled and laughed and really would help keep our office a happy place. We had great times working out in the field. We bothed loved to spend time talking of our adventures with our dogs. Kayenta will miss her dearly and so will I. I'm glad I was able to have her spirit in my life for at least a short time. My deepest sympathies to the family.

I remember Tennille when she was a student at USU where I work. I don't always remember our undergrad students, but Tennille made an impression on me with her friendliness and active spirit. I also enjoyed watching her in the Bell Choir when she participated in a Christmas program. I saw her about a year ago and visited with her about her work. It is a shock to learn of her passing. I did not know that she had health problems. Please accept my sympathy and condolences.

I had the priviledge of ringing with Tennille at both the Utah Valley Handbell choir, and the Bells on Temple Square. I have been so impressed and touched by her expressions of faith, love and friendship. She will be sorely missed. To her parents I would like to say how grateful I am to have known her. She has a beautiful spirit, and I know she is with her Savior. All my love.

Dear Bro and Sis Flint,

We are (The Bountiful Bells) so, so sorry to here of Tenille's passing. We loved playing with her. She always made others stand a little taller and play alot better after watching her play. She was always up and happy to be asked also to sub anytime we needed her. We love her and know that she will probably be the principle ringer in the bell choir in heaven. A beautiful and accomplished daughter. You must be proud.

With love,

I met Tennille for the first time last week when she filled in for a member of the Utah Valley Handbell Choir. Since I'm new to handbells, I asked her a lot of questions and she was happy to help me and give advice. I enjoyed "ringing" with her and can't believe I won't get to know her better.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

Dear Family:

I was shocked to hear of Tennille's passing and knew her briefly while working with her on a Maxim Technologies project out of Maxim's Murray Office. She was a very bright and energetic person and kept a very positive outlook at all times. I had no idea of her illness past or present. We will miss her very much at Maxim. Our sympathies and prayers go out to you.

I am a member of the Bells on Temple Square and will greatly miss Tennille!

The day before our first concert she sent an email to all of us to express her love and faith, all of which was extremely contagious. A few times we arrived at rehearsal before anyone else and she would tell me how much she looked forward to each Wednesday night.

Tennille LOVED being a member of the Bells on Temple Square. We LOVED Tennille. She will be missed.

Dear Tennille's Family,

I want you to know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. I sincerely enjoyed the last nine months with the Bells on Temple Square getting to know Tennille and she truly touched my life. I will cherish the afternoon I got to spend with her two weeks ago as we had lunch together in my home. She brought with her a warm smile and a very positive attitude about life. She expressed a deep love for her family and especially her mom and dad who would check up on her everyday. She looked forward to her phone call from her parents each Wednesday as she traveled home from our Bells rehearsals. Thank you for sharing Tennille with me for this brief time and will look forward to seeing her again. Remember you are all in my prayers.

I just wanted the family to know how sorry I am for you. I recently lost my brother Perry Grant 5 months ago today. I also went to school with Tennille and graduated the same year. She was a sweet girl. I want you to know that my prayers are with you as I know what struggles are ahead for your family. Just remember shes in a better place (although it doesn't make it easier) and know that you'll see her again soon.

Since hearing the news of Tennille's passing my thoughts have kept returning to the wonderful things about Tennille. Tennille's friendly, happy and energetic personality drew people to her. Tennille was an exemplary person in every aspect. I could tell she had a very strong testimony of the gospel and loved her Heavenly Father deeply. I could tell all this and I have only been lucky enough to know her for about a year through bell choirs. I will always remember her talent, her strong spirit, and her acceptance of everyone. I know Tennille is now in a joyful place. My thoughts and prayers are with you, her family, at this time.

I have had the privelege of ringing bells with Tennille as a member of Bells on Temple Square since March of this year. Tennille's enthusiasm and spirit were contagious. Her love for the bells and for each of us was very apparent. Several months ago I came to rehearsal frazzled and tired. Tennille picked up on that and e-mailed me the next morning to make sure I was OK. I so appreciated her thoughtfulness.

My husband, Mark, and I had the opportunity of doing a session at the Salt Lake temple with her this summer. We spent well over an hour talking in the Celestial room (I thought we might be asked to leave!) of spiritual things. I know she will be rewarded for the wonderful person that she is.

My heartfelt condolences to, you, her family. May our Heavenly Father bless and comfort you.

To Tennille's family, I join in your feelings of loss. I came to know her in the Bells on Temple Square, recently ringing beside her on one of the Christmas pieces we are currently learning. She has been a true friend and is leaving a huge hole in the choir. I am grateful for the opportunity it has been to know and come to love her.

I was so saddened to hear about your dear sweet daughter. I had the blessing of getting to know Tennille the past couple years as we were co-workers here at the Bureau of Reclamation in Provo. I loved her enthusiasm for life and whatever she was involved in, which will always be a sweet memory to me. I had the privilege of hearing her play in the bell choirs a few times, which is a love of mine as well. I shared many laughs and heart to heart talks with Tennille and considered her "My Friend." I saw her just last week and she expressed her excitement with her new job, her acceptance into the Bell Choir, and life in general. You have a beautiful daughter and I will miss her very much. May God bless and comfort you through this difficult time. My prayers are with you.

Dearest neighbors and friends,

As her obituary notice mentions, our Tennille fought valiantly the uphill battle that was her mortal life.

Laura and I were remembering with fondness yesterday, the summer she (Laura) watched the kids when she was a teenager.

Brief as her life was, by customary measurements, it was filled with the things that matter and the courage of Tennille's convictions.

May your grief be tempered with the knowledge of how well she accepted the challenges life offered. We love and support you with all our hearts.
