Dear Robin and children,
My husband Jeff is not from this area originally. As I was sharing memories of Tony the other day he told me that Tony was one of the first dads he met when he was bringing our daughter to preschool at Spaulding. They spoke occassionally and he really liked him. He was a gentle man and his presence will be greatly missed in this community. Please know that you are in our prayers. Peace,
Donna and Jeff Childs

Dear Robin, Katie, Danny, Mr. & Mrs. Silva,
I am so deeply saddened by Tony's passing. He was a great best friend to me for more than 25 years. You should be so proud of your husband, father and son because he was faithful, kind and good. Tony was proud too, not because of his education, material or business success but because of his wife, children and parents. Most of our conversations over the years were mostly about you. Robin, you were his Love since he was old enough to have a Love. Katie and Danny, you were his shinning stars that brought him joy. And Mrs. and Mr. Silva you were the solid foundation that allowed him to succeed and grow into the great man he was. His imprint on my life has made me better and he will remain with me as long as I live.

Dear Silva Family,
Though it has been more than 20 yrs since our son Chris was in Boy Scouts and nearly that since I worked with Tony via the United Way, he was always an exemplary mentor and role model to men, young and old alike.
My older brother passed on at age 37, and we have some under- standing of what a great loss this is for you as his parents, siblings, wife, and children.
We are so very sorry for your loss. May God's comfort and love be with you always.

We are deeply sorry for your loss. Any words expressed can only give small comfort to such an overwhelming loss. But remember all the hundreds of people and Boy Scouts that Tony helped along the way. I will always remember his kind words of encouragement towards the scouts at the boards of review or merit badge counseling sessions. His kindness and thoughtfulness will never be forgotten.

There are no words that can truly express how sad I was to hear this awful news. All I can remember is what a kind and friendly kid Tony was in High School to everybody. He always seemed to be in a good mood, and smiling. Even the few times I happened to bump into him after High School he seemed just the same. Robin, my thoughts and prayers go out to you and the kids, Tony was a wonderful person.

We moved to West Townsend Village one year ago from another part of Townsend. Tony was very kind and friendly to us, helping us move furniture into our house and making us feel a part of the neighborhood. We often have seen Tony and Robin, his beautiful wife, walking or running together by our house. His quiet and constant presence will be missed.
