Antoine Djerbaka teacher in Fitchburg for 36 years, 76 Fitchburg Antoine Djerbaka, 76, of Fitchburg died Saturday September 13, 2008 in his home. He was born on June 22, 1932 in Aleppo; Syria was the son of Gabriel and Khatoun J. (Makukji) Djerbaka. He worked as a teacher in the Fitchburg Public School for 36 years and retired in 2006. He was a member of St. Camillus Parish in Fitchburg. Mr. Djerbaka is survived by his brother George Djerbaka of Leominster, three sisters Theresa Djerbaka of Fitchburg, Loris Farra of Leominster, and Georgette Baho of Fitchburg, many nieces and nephews. DJERBAKA Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Wright-Roy Funeral Home 109 West Street in Leominster is directing arrangements. Many years ago, as a young woman, it was my good fortune to work with members of the Djerbaka family at Hunter Sportswear in Fitchburg. They were wonderful generous and uncommonly hard working people. Especially, I remember Theresa and her dear mother. My sincere sympathy in your time of loss.
