Robert Hurley Obituary

Robert T. Hurley of Fitchburg, Sterilite Plastics retiree; 76 FITCHBURG Robert T. Hurley, 76, of Fitchburg, MA, died Sunday, October 19, 2008, in UMass Memorial Healthcare Hospital Worcester, MA, after a long illness. He was born in Fitchburg, MA, on July 30,1932, the son of James and Mariann (Roy) Hurley, and had lived in Fitchburg all of his life. Robert worked as a molder for the Sterilite Plastics Co. of Townsend, MA for 35 years, and retired in 1994. He was living at the Wallace Towers in Fitchburg, MA, and will be sadly missed by all of his friends there. He leaves his brother, David J. Hurley of Leominster, MA; and his sister, Theresa Paul of Fitchburg, MA; along with several nephews, nieces, and cousins. He was predeceased by his brothers, Lawrence, Jimmy, and Edward Hurley. HURLEY A service will be held in the Pieta Chapel in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fitchburg, MA on a later date. There are no Calling hours. The Lavery Chartrand & Alario Funeral Home, 99 Summer St., Fitchburg, MA is directing the arrangements.
