Ronald Roy Obituary

Ronald L. Roy of Bolton, Fitchburg DPW retiree; 67 BOLTON Ronald L. Roy, 67, of Bolton, died Wednesday, October 22, at Clinton hospital. He was born May 25, 1941, in Fitchburg, son of the late Leon and Jean (LeBlanc) Roy. He worked for the Department of Public Works in Fitchburg, and also as a plasterer for the former Central Mass Plastering Co. Mr. Roy was a member of the South Fitchburg National Club, and the dart team at the Red Star Café. He enjoyed watching the Patriots, Celtics, and Red Sox. He leaves his wife of 47 years, Claire (Beland) Roy; two sons, Michael R. Roy of Leominster, and Steven L. Roy of Alabama; two daughters, Pamela J. Barton and her husband, Harry of Alabama, and Holly L. Roy of Fitchburg; six grandchildren; one sister, Beverly Meador of Albuquerque, NM. He was predeceased by one brother, Kenneth Roy of Fitzwilliam, NH. ROY Funeral services will be private under the direction of Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg.
