David R. Andrews

David R. Andrews formerly of Fitchburg; 62 Berwick, PA David R. Andrews, 62, died Friday November 14, 2008 at the Berwick Retirement Village after a long battle with cancer. Mr. Andrews was born in Fitchburg, May 26, 1946 son of Harold and Eleanor (Accardi) Andrews. He graduated from Lunenburg High School, he lived in the Fitchburg, Leominster area until 1999, when he moved to Pennsylvania. He was an avid reader of Sci-Fi books and had a love for music and photography. He worked in radio and as an LPN at Leominster Hospital, before becoming a counselor at MCI Shirley. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth J. (Theriault) Andrews; his daughter Bonnie J. Andrews both of Fitchburg, a brother Robert Andrews and his wife Angela; two nephews Anthony and Robert of Kissimmee, Florida. He also left his best friend and caregiver John J. Madaglia of Cataivissa, PA. He was predeceased by his father Harold Andrews who died October 26, 1990, and his mother Eleanor (Accardi) Andrews who died September 26, 1994.
