Rita M. Hare

Rita M. Hare formerly of Townsend N. Haverhill, NH Rita M. Hare died November 17, 2008 at the Grafton County Nursing Home in N. Haverhill, NH after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Fitchburg on March 22, 1923 to Gustaf and Bernadette (LaFlamme) Sundstrom. She married William E. Hare who predeceased her in 1980. She lived in Townsend until 1994 when she moved to Yarmouthport to live with her daughter's family. She enjoyed the ocean and her time on the Cape. In 2003 she moved to Monroe, NH. Survivors include her daughter, Pam Gaouette, grandsons Tyler and Trevor Gaouette of Monroe, NH; her sister and husband June and Ralph Clark of Laconia, NH; her brother Bob and his wife Janet Sundstrom of Center Lovell, ME. She was predeceased by her brothers Dick, Don and Pete Sundstrom. She has many nieces and nephews and was especially close to her niece Linda and her husband Michael Whalen of Strafford, NH. She also leaves behind lifelong friends Myrna Korsman, Mary Gagnon, Bev Rogers, Honey Sperco and Lorraine Galvin. HARE Services will be private.
