Ida Vergari Obituary

Ida Vergari of Deltona, FL, formerly of Fitchburg; 88 Deltona, FL Ida (Wininski) Vergari, 88, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2008, at the West Volusia Care Center in Orange City, Florida, with her sons Dominic and Paul by her side, after an illness. Ida was the daughter of the late John and Francis (Ramonauskis) Wininski of Fitchburg. She was born on November 24, 1919 in Fitchburg and graduated from Fitchburg High School in 1937. She was employed at the former Falulah Paper Company for 25 years and then the former Myles Kedex Corporation for 10 years. After retiring, Ida moved to Deltona, Florida in 1992. She leaves two sons, Dominic of Deltona, Fl, who has been her caregiver, and Paul and his wife Sarah of Fitchburg. She also leaves seven grandchildren, William Wisniewski and his wife Tricia of Wetumpka, AL, Debra Wisniewski Collette of Leominster, Wendy Wisniewski McCartney and her husband Jerry of Wetumpka, AL, Lynne Vergari Richards and her husband William of Hoover, AL, Lisa Vergari Casey and her husband Christopher of Pompano Beach, FL, Michael Vergari of Lowell, and Timothy Vergari and his wife Michelle of Leominster. She also leaves ten great-grandchildren, Kristyn, Nicholas and Kathryn Richards, Jessica and Evan (E.J) Collette, Brittany and Kaitlyn McCartney, Aaron Bolis-Vergari, and Mia Rose and Lilah Ruby Vergari. She also leaves her former son-in-law, William Wisniewski, Jr. and his wife Nong of Leominster, and her former daughter-in-law, Nancy McKenney Vergari of Boynton Beach, Fl, and nieces and nephews. Ida was pre-deceased by her daughter Elizabeth Vergari Wisniewski Formisani, who passed away in 1993, and two brothers, John and Walter Wininski of Fitchburg. VERGARI Arrangements are under the direction of Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wonoosnoc Rd, Fitchburg. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at 10am, at St. Anthony's Church, Salem St., Fitchburg. Burial will follow at St. Bernard's Cemetery. There are no Calling Hours. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the West Volusia Care Center, 1625 Veterans Memorial Pkwy, Orange City, FL 32763 or to the charity of your choice.
