Henry H. J. Leroux in Florida, family in Fitchburg area; 73 SEBRING, Florida Henry Hector Joseph Leroux, 73, of Sebring, Florida, died Sunday, December 7, 2008, in Palms of Sebring Rehab Center in Sebring, Florida, after a short illness. He was born on July 3, 1935 in Britt, Ontario, Canada, the son of Joseph H. and Catherine H. (Boucher) Leroux. He was raised in Toronto Canada, and lived there for many years before moving to the United States in 1969. He lived in Sebring, Florida for the last 9 years, and previously lived in Hollywood, Florida for many years. Henry was a fleet manager in the Dept. of Transportation for the State of Florida for 14 years and retired in 1992, due to illness. He attended Broward Community College and received his Associate's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Betty J. (LeBlanc) Leroux; his children, K.M. Charron of Fitchburg, MA, Lynne A. Marley of Sebring, Florida, Thomas R. Charron of Temple N.H., Meri M. Charron of Mt. Hope, West Virginia, and Debra Ann Leroux of Montreal, Canada; his brother, Carl Leroux of Toronto,Canada; his sister, Isabelle L. Russell of Scarboro, Ontario, Canada; his grandchildren, Matthew D. Charron of Sebring, Florida, Donald W. Leroux of Clinton, Iowa, Mary E. Montiquilla of Leominster, MA, Christie Keilty of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Cody T. Charron of Temple, N.H., Rachel Hernandez, Meri J. Workman, and David. C. Workman, all of Mt. Hope, West Virginia, and 6 great-grandchildren. He also leaves many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his son, David R. Charron in 2000, 2 brothers, Gordon J. Leroux of Calgary Alberta, Canada, Earl Leroux of Toronto, Canada, and his sister, Virginia J. Oglivie of Toronto, Canada. LEROUX A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 2 p.m. in the Lavery Chartrand & Alario Funeral Home, 99 Summer St., Fitchburg, MA. A calling hour will precede the service from 12:45 until 1:45 p.m. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fitchburg, MA on Monday at 11 a.m.
