Catharine Rudnicky Obituary

Catharine Rudnicky retired Leominster Hospital nurse; 85 LEOMINSTER Catharine Rudnicky, 85, died Wednesday (Dec. 10), at Lifecare Center in Leominster, after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Kerny, NJ, on Jan. 17, 1923, the daughter of Leon and Sophie (Kulikowska) Rudnicky. She was a graduate of St. Bernard's High School, and the Leominster Hospital of Nursing, and was a nurse for several years at Leominster Hospital. She also received additional nursing training in the North East Region including Boston and Philadelphia. Her last assignment at Leominster Hospital was in the Cardiac Care Center. Catharine leaves her brother, Peter Rudnicky and his wife, Juliette, of Leominster; one niece, Joanne Cutting of Oxford; 3 nephews, Peter Rudnicky of Pepperell, David Rudnicky of Leominster, and James Rudnicky of Williamsburg, VA. She was predeceased by her parents and her brothers and sisters, Anne Cutting, Leon Rudnicky, Josephine Rudnicky, and John Rudnicky. RUDNICKY The Funeral will be held on Monday (Dec. 15) from The Curley-Marchand Funeral Home, 89 West St., Leominster with a Mass at 10:30 A.M. in Our Lady of the Lake Church, 1400 Main St., Leominster. Burial will follow in St. Leo's Cemetery, Leominster. Calling hours at the funeral home will be on Monday from 9:00 to 10 A.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to: Our Lady of the Lake Church, 1400 Main St., Leominster, MA 01453.
