Mrs. Pelletier was born in Leominster on June 2, 1923, daughter of the late Guiseppe and Filomena (Fiory) Scarale and lived here all of her life. She had worked as a meat wrapper at the former First National Store in Leominster for more than 20 years. Lena was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Church. She loved cooking, bowling, watching all of the New England sports and spending time with family and friends. They will miss her great sense of humor.
She is survived by her daughter, Paula A. Carr and her husband, Philip A. Carr, of Leominster; four grandchildren, Gregory A. Carr of Leominster, Kimberly A. Carr of Leominster, Jennifer L. Platine of Leominster, and Rebecca L. Carr of Lunenburg; a sister, Angelina Faulkenham of Leominster; a brother, Louis Cipolla and his wife, Olga Cipolla, of Leominster; a sister-in-law, Theresa Cipolla of Leominster; three great-grandchildren, Keeghan Taylor, Tyler Carr and Dylan Carr.
She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond R. Pelletier; her son, Reed M. Pelletier; her stepmother, Mary (Molinari) Scarale, who raised her; five sisters, Raffaela Grillo, Lucia Grasso, Rose Federici, Frances Carbone and Hilda McGinnis; and two brothers, Anthony Scarale and John Cipolla.
PELLETIER -- Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 30, from the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West St., Leominster with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Lake Church, 1400 Main St., Leominster. Burial will be in St. Leo’s Cemetery, Leominster. Calling hours will be held on Monday, Oct. 29, from 5-8 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Hi Paula,
Please accept my sympathies, I remember your Mom to be such a nice lady. I know how hard it is to loose your parents. I've lost mine too. I now live in Florida but still try to keep up with the paper back home. I will keep you in my prayers, and know that your Mom is safe in her loving Fathers arms. God bless you!
