Dearest Joey, (sorry, I'll call you "Joey" forever), Terry and Joe:
I'm sure others will be able to express their condolance more eloquently, but few will be more heartfelt.
I was shocked and so saddened to hear of Kerry's death. I am so terribly sorry for your loss. Joey - you were a godsend after my dad died, and I feel horrible that I could not get to Massachusetts in time to be there.
There is no way I can possibly know how you feel, but my heart is breaking for all of you.
However, thinking back on my memories, and reading all the tributes, I can not help but to remind you that it took extraordinary parents to raise such an outstanding and exceptional child. She wasn't here a long time, but every day of her life was a celebration.
What a gift.
Please know you are in my prayers.

To the entire Flynn family,
I have had the joy of knowing your entire family for almost 40 years now. The service I attended for Kerry yesterday was a wonderful tribute to an exceptional young woman.I believe, though her physical presence is gone, her spirit will always be here watching out for all of you. Below is a poem my grandmother gave me many years ago that gives me comfort at times like these.
MEMORIES REMAIN
WITHIN MY HEART AND MIND
OF TIMES SO LONG AGO,
OF THINGS I LEFT BEHIND
OF PEOPLE I HAVE LOVED,
AND LOST ALONG THE WAY.....
THE SPIRIT STILL LIVES ON,
THE LOVE IS HERE TO STAY.
IT ONLY TAKES A MOMENT,
TO RESTORE WHAT USED TO BE..
LIKE FOOTPRINTS IN THE SAND
THEY'VE LEFT THEIR MARK ON ME.
MEMORIES REMAIN
FOREVER THEY WILL BE..
INGRAINED UPON MY HEART,
WHERE LOVE RESIDES IN ME.
With much love to all of you,
brandy

Dear Terry and Joe,
I was blessed to have known Kerry. The day I met her, she was such a spunky, little 6th grader. She made us all smile. I am so glad that I had the pleasure of working with her through middle school. I was so proud of her on her High School Graduation day.
She always called me every year on my birthday and made it more special. It just won't be the same without her.
You are all in our prayers.
Always,

Kerry, Your spirit will continue to live in my heart as well as on this campus. You brought happiness into the room and you brought strength and courage to everyone you met. I thank your parents for sharing you with me and our school. Your love of culinary and life has been an inspiration to me and to many of your fellow students. In your short time on this earth you have opened hearts to acceptance and love. God has a very special angel with him right now and I know you will watch over all of us who love and miss you. I will miss your voice and our visits, I will however always remember your smile and your sence of humor. Enjoy your place of peace and remember those who love you.
