My girlfriend and I lived next door to Mr. Reid on Canton Street back in 97/98. He was a wonderful person and enjoyed many fine conversations with him. Our sympathy goes out to his family.

My Uncle Fred was a man who loved his family. He was thoughtful, loving and very caring. He was very encouraging and always thought the best of people. I will miss the pipe, the laughter, his cards, phone calls and his humor. Fred Reid was a gift to everyone he met.

My mother, sister and brothers, and I send our deepest sympathies to all of you at this sad time. We have very nice, and warm memories of Freddy, as well as all of you. Although we haven't been in touch with all of you, we are always so happy to hear from Roger & Louise. Our on-line notes are special, too.
Freddy was a really nice man, and he reminded me so much of your father, and my dad, too.
Again, our thoughts and prayers are with each of you. We're in Delaware for the winter, so will be unable to attend his services.
Sincerely,
Elsie Reid, Janet Thoren, Bill Reid, Peg Wyman, and Rick Reid.

Fred, you will be sorely missed. We enjoyed your visits very much. You always had the right words and expressed your love so well. I thank you for all the get well cards you sent me when I was sick. They always brought a smile to my face..... I'm sure that you are in a better place now. Please know that you were loved so much.
