Theresa was born in Fitchburg, the daughter of the late Romeo and Blanche Girouard. She graduated from Tufts College, with an associate’s degree in dental hygiene. For 16 years, Theresa worked for Dr. Frigelleto in Fitchburg. In 1948, she married Thomas Shea, and they moved to New York in 1957 and lived in Burnt Hills for 38 years, where she was a house wife and a homemaker. Theresa was a member of the Burnt Hills Ballston Lake Women’s Club and a communicant of the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Glenville.
In addition to her husband, Thomas Shea, Theresa is survived by her stepbrother, Kenneth (Diane) Dumont of Westminster; and her niece, Kathleen (Ernest) Guiles of Livingston, N.J. Several other neices and nephews also survive.
SHEA -- A memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 15, at St. Joseph’s Church, 10 Woodland St., Fitchburg. Relatives and friends are cordially invited. Arrangements handled by Glenville Funeral Home.
