Ramon R. "Ray" Sickmiller

RAMON R. "RAY" SICKMILLER, 65, of Fort Wayne, died Friday, Feb. 23, 2007, at his home. Born in Wauseon, Ohio, he was employed with General Motors Corporation for 26 years, retiring in 2003. He was a member of Christ's Church at Georgetown, volunteer at Habitat for Humanity, was a Cleveland Indians fan and was a U.S. Army veteran. Survivors include wife, Carolyn E. Sickmiller of Fort Wayne; son, Gregory Allen (Jenn) Sickmiller of Fort Wayne; daughter, Ann Christine Renfrow of Fort Wayne; sister, Janet May (Dale) Chitwood of Miami, Fla.; brother, Roger Burnell (Twyla) Sickmiller of Mount Airy, N.C.; and grandchildren, Dawn, Grace and Ross. Service is 11 a.m. Tuesday at Christ's Church at Georgetown, 3131 Maplecrest Road, with calling one hour prior. The Rev. Mike Kjergaard officiating. Calling also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road. Entombment in Highland Park Cemetery.
