Hello,
We wanted you to know that we will be honoring and remembering your loved one this holiday season. We are sending Care Packages to our deployed troops in his name. Each package will carry the name, photo, service branch, rank and hometown of Jaiciae L. Pauley US Army Specialist.
We realize that this is a small tribute, but we do this with all respect and sincerity and we want you to know that it is made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals from across the American youth hockey community, their families, friends and many others who support our mission.
We will not forget. May God Bless you and keep you safe and strong.
Sincerely,
Charlie Gili & Family

Jaciace you are in our hearts forever .I miss you so much .Anyone who would like to contact the parents .The email is [email protected]

To the Pauley family, my name is Louise Morgan. First of all let me offer my sincere condolences to you on the loss of Jaiciae. I am the Indiana state coordinator for a program called Home of the Brave Quilt Project. Our aim is to provide a quilt to the families of all our fallen heroes. Depending on family circumstances, we can make more than one quilt. I am trying to locate his parents, but all my letters come back returned to me. If anyone knows Jaiciae's family members and can help me locate them, I hope you will contact me.
We want you to know that although we didn't know Jaiciae personally, we remember him and grieve with you. The quilts are made by volunteers with love and remembrance. I look forward to hearing from anyone who can help me find Jaiciae's family. [email protected]

I'm the nurse who took care of you that sad day in December 2009, wish I could tell your parents that I held your hand, talked to you, prayed for you as you left this world to a better place. I, too, still have moments were I say why? I'm deployed again and ran into a soldier from your unit and we talked about Jaiciace. He is not forgotten

Prayer for Peace
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace;
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master,
Grant that I way not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
To be understood, as to understand;
To be loved, as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive,
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
And it is in dying that that we are born to eternal life.
Amen

I know there are no words to say at this time, except how sorry that I am. I truly feel your loss and pain. My thoughts and prayers are with you always. Jaiciae will never be forgotten.
For you every single soldier
Those who served so honorable
Your life was forever altered
While I’m home safe and free
I stand with grateful admiration
I stand respectful and so proud
I know I’m only a civilian
And I don’t even know if it’s allowed
But I salute you; allow me the honor
to salute you with permission let me say
Even though I hold no rank know that from my heart
My humble gratitude comes from the deepest part.
I salute you.
For those missing in action;
for those who didn’t make it home.
I know you’re in God’s presence you are not alone.
For every neatly folded flag;
for every shattered family
I will do the only thing I know to dignify your memory.
I salute you, allow me the honor
to salute you with permission let me say
even though I hold no rank know that from my heart
my humble gratitude comes from the deepest part.
I salute you .

The Final Salute
“Brothers in Arms”, Military men and women down through the centuries, have traditionally exchanged “Hand Salutes” as a sign of recognition and as a way to render courtesy and respect one to another.
This “Hand Salute” is the last that we shall render to our Brother-in-Arms Pfc. Jaiciae L. Pauley. To his family it symbolizes the love and respect that we have for Jaiciae. And to Jaiciae it is rendered as a symbol of honor and gratitude to thank him for the ultimate sacrifice he made for his country while deployed with the U.S. Army in Iraq. No greater love is shown than a man lay down his life for another. Jaiciae, you are a brave American Warrior, a true Patriot and a national Hero. With your passing, our Country has lost a National Treasure. We bid you a sad farewell. You will be dearly missed from among our ranks. Be at ease. Rest in Peace.
On behalf of the 1,341 members of Lowe-McFarlane Post 14 of the American Legion in Shreveport, Louisiana, I extend our sympathies and our condolences to Jaiciae’s family and loved ones.

There will Never Be Enough Ways, to Humbly Thank these Young Heroes, for their Sacrifices, my brother among them. Killed in action in Vietnam in 1967.
"And God shall wipe away every tear from their eyes,
there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying,
there shall be no more pain.
For the former things have passed away."
