To Fred's and Margaret's family: Mary, I was so sorry to hear about Fred's untimely passing--and so soon after losing Margaret. It's hard to lose a loved one, but it's hardest of all to lose your own beloved child. We want them all to outlive us. My heart is with you during this trying time.

To Fred's kids: I'm sorry for your loss. I'm sorry for your children's loss of their Grandfather because a good grandfather is so important.

Mary Lou, I'm sure there is an empty place in your life now. Yet I know you have a wonderful strength of spirit that will serve you and and yours and Fred's family also. My best wishes to you and Tom and your family as well as Fred's family.
Love and kisses, Aunt Helen

Fred left a void that has yet to be filled when he retired from the Medical Center. but he never forgot to us. We would often receive e-mail letting us know how he was doing and reminding us of the fun he was having in his retirement. He will be truly missed. God be with you all at this sad time.

Fred was an incredible man. When my parents died Fred & Margaret were like a second set of parents watching over us. They were also wonderful "grandparents" to our children, always remembering them on birthdays & Christmas. They welcomed my sister, Kim, into their family as their daughter. My life was made better having known them. My only solace is knowing that Fred is now with his beloved Margaret. Kim, Liam & Brennan, my condolences to you at this time. (I will miss Fred's laugh & Margaret's "Cherries in the snow")

I met Fred when I was dating Randy, a friend of his son Liam. I remember Fred, and Margaret, as kind and welcoming. When I think of Fred, I automatically see both of them. My memories are of two loving parents who raised their boys with strong family values and unconditional love. I think this is why Liam is such an awesome Dad himself. I feel fortunate to have had the honor of meeting Fred, and Margaret, How lucky was I to have known them. My prayers go out to the family, especially Liam, Paul and Kim.

I have been a friend of the Lederer family for a long time. Fred's son Liam is one of my closest friends. I remember Fred as being a hard-working honest man that always tried to keep Liam and I out of trouble, without a lot of luck. I enjoyed his sense of humor, he will be missed.

Fred was my husband, Bernard Guy's nephew-and over the years he became a treasured nephew to me as well.
Fred and Margaret were special to us. They hosted many family parties in their home, and were excellent hosts.
We visited back and forth very closely for many years. I shall miss them very much.

Fred was my first cousin-my Dad Barney and my Aunt Mary are brother and sister. My first memory of Fred is when I was a very little girl and seeing him at Grandma's trailer. Later, I remember him married to beautiful Margaret and going to parties at their home, and them coming to our house for numerous get togethers. Fred will be very much missed. My thoughts are especially with my dear Aunt Mary. May God hold the family close at this time.
