DON, WHAT A GUY. YOU HAVE SUCH A PURE VOICE AND A VERY BRIGHT SENSE OF HUMOR. GOD MUST HAVE NEEDED YOU SOONER RATHER THAN LATER. FOLLOW HIS PLAN AND HELP THOSE OF US YOU LEFT BEHIND. WE MISS YOU.

My prayers go out to Don's family and friends. We will all miss your humorous stories, Don. You always made me laugh. Whenever I approached you to say "hello", you always met me with a hug and replied, "I'm doing just fine, now, darling". I will miss that.

I'll never forget our trip to Williams Lake, Canada. We stayed up late, drinking Corona, while you entertained us with your stories and singing. We never did play that game of cribbage. You owe me a game buddy.

I'm submitting a picture of our mopars all lined up when we stopped along the road for a break, to stretch our legs and take in the beauty of Canada. For those of you that don't know, Don's car is the second one, the blue Baracuda.

Until we meet again, dear friend, may the sound of your laugh and your mopar ring in heaven, as well as, in our hearts.

Don, you were a great guy. I had alot of fun with you in Vegas this past year. I'll always remember you telling the funniest jokes I'd ever heard. Probably the greatest time i'll always remember of you was the day everyone was leaving Vegas to come back home, and a bunch of us were standing in the parking lot of a hotel, and you did the greatest power brake burnout, especially in a rental car MOPAR. "Drive it like it's a rental car". We'll always remember you and your in our hearts forever. I hope your in MoPar Heaven.

Brother Don you will be missed. We had just gotten to know you over the last several years that you attended our Mopar meetings in Burlington. You were always upbeat and could tell a story better than anyone. You would have us laughing so hard we'd have tears in our eyes, like we do now. It was great to know you and we will all miss you dearly. Mopar to ya, Greg Peck

Don was not only a great worker but a great friend too. Don had fast cars and a fast tounge. He would have a quick funny comeback before I was even finished talking. His excellent and humorous personality will always have a special place in my heart. Don, you have and always will make me very proud. You are one of a kind! Rest in peace my friend!

Each of us exist for a mere fraction of time. The relatively short we are here we make lasting impressions. I am fullfilled with the memory of Don since 1966 when we were just 13 and 14 years-old. In my 54 years I can say I have only had but three people classified as "best-friend." Don was one and more, he was my best-man and Godfather of my son David. We will miss him, but our memories of him will live on in us all.

Rest in peace my friend. The struggle is over. Don was my partner in crime for over 40 years. A true man among men. He lived his life on his own terms. Robust yet gentle. I will miss his kind smile and gentle way.

It is difficult to tell you how deeply I feel about Don's untimely death. Don was loved by all his co-workers here at Boeing, and his friendiness cheered us all.It was a privilege to have know him so well, and I will never forget his thoughtfulness and kindness.I remember him telling me "lose the zero and get a hero" He was proud of his Cuda and Mopar all the way! He will be greatly missed. With great personal sorrow. I ask to share your loss and extend my heartfelt sympathy.
Sincerely,

Elaine Griffis

Don was a joy to work. He made my time on 2nd shift fun and musical. I always knew he was in the room even if I could not see him by his humming or his laugh. And going for a ride in his car was always fast and fun. He will be missed by his fellow Boeing workers.

The news of Don's departure hits hard. The Seattle musclecar community lost a friend with his passing. Don always expressed interest in other's projects and supported their endeavors in the hobby--even if they drove Chevies or Fords!
Thanks for the Sure-Grip marks you left while you were here...they are impressive, and will remain for a long time.

Wow what can you say about a guy like Don? Always happy and cheerful with a great attitude towards life. You will be missed. And although you were taken to soon, I'm sure you're still driving to fast and loving every minute of it.
