To the family and friends of Lance Cpl. Jason C. Redifer:
It has truly been my honor to sign Jason's guest book these past few years. Unfortunately, due to complications from my Multiple Sclerosis, this may be the last message I'm able to write. Please forgive me and know that Jason will always be remembered in my home.

"Always Faithful"
This described you in so many ways Red. You are the best man the world would ever have known. Thank you so much and I'll never forget you and the fun times back at Stuarts Draft way back when. We are all better people for knowing you, and I know you went out the way you would've wanted. With your boots on, and serving your country as a Marine. HOORAH!

My sincere condolonces on your loss. It is never easy to lose a loved especially "our" child. I helped with The Run For The FAllen.org when they came thru Charlottesville. I did so because of Jason and all the soldiers like him to whom I owe my freedom. He may be gone but he will never be "ForGotten". Semper Fi !!

To the family of Jason Redifer, I just want you guys to know that I was good friends with Jason, everyday he is remembered, He was one of my marines on mess duty for quite sometime during our workups before we left out and we were supposed to hang out when we returned home, he always had good stories to tell about bull riding and girls. If there is anything that you guys ever need let me know.
A message to Jason, Hey brother I know your up there in Heaven looking out for your fellow marines down here, I know you had to have been looking out for me this past time I was out there cause there were some close calls. I think about you everyday bro and we will see each other again when its time. Semper Fi Sgt Jones

Although we are only here but a short while, it is what we do while we are here that God remembers. From the moment of your first breath, God placed his hand in yours. He walked with you throughout your life. God knows the sacrifice you have made for his children. He has now called another angel home. To a place where there are no wars, neither sorrows nor pain. You are blessed. Thank you Jason, for all you have done so that my children and I may live in freedom here on earth.
I Love You,
Your Aunt Debra

There is nothing that I can say or do to take away the pain or bring you peace in your time of sorrow, but I will offer you and your family my heart felt condolences. I also offer you my prayers that in time the pain will easy and the memories of your HERO will carry you through each day and night. I want to thank your HERO, for his/her selfless act of becoming a member of the armed forces, his/her willingness to defend the United States of America, all that we hold sacred and for the sacrifice that will forever be etched in the memories of all those who knew him/her. Though tears can never bring him/her back, we hope that our tears express our gratitude for the sacrifice that he/she made and our sorrow at his/her passing. I believe for every fallen HERO there is a star shining brightly up above to remind us of the precious gift we were given.
Your mission on earth is complete and you are now a member of GOD’s Heavenly armed forces. Stand down brave warrior and take your rightful place in Heaven with all the HEROES who have passed before.
I made a special promise to LE RON A. WILSON, a dear family friend who joined the Army with three other friends, one of whom is my son (Le Ron was killed in action on 07/06/07 at the age of 18) on the day he was laid to rest as I touched his coffin, that I would never forget him nor would I forget those that gave their lives for our country before him, with him and after him and so when I came across www.legacy.com, I thought what a great way to keep my promise to Le Ron, so I will continue to leave tributes in each guest book until the day there is no longer the need to leave these tributes to a FALLEN HERO.
REST IN PEACE, HERO, YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN!!

Rhonda and family,
I think of you all often and wonder how you are doing. You have been on my mind more lately because our neighbor here is a Marine and is about to be deployed. I know we never knew Jason but after meeting you all and knowing Justin and Missy...I know he was a great guy, a true Hero. I hope this finds you all well and you are still in our prayers. Hope to see you all again some day.

Jason was my nephew whom I loved with all of my heart as I do his three brothers. He was always smiling and could get so tickled about something that he could not stop laughing. He was always there for me and I have began to realize just how much I have learned from him. I miss him so bad that I still can,t stop crying. He was the best nephew that I could ever have. I am very proud of him.

I SENT JASON CARE PACKAGES AND RECEIVED A LETTER FROM HIM IN NOVEMBER. IT SEEMED LIKE IT TOOK FOREVER FOR MY PACKAGES TO GET THERE AND FOR HIM TO WRITE BACK, BUT WHEN I RECEIVED HIS LETTER, A SENSE OF PRIDE AND EMOTION OVERTOOK ME SO, I HAD TO CALL HIS MOM TO LET HER KNOW THAT I HAD HEARD FROM HIM. I HAD THE PLEASURE OF MEETING HIM ONCE AND HIS GOOD LOOKS AND SMILING FACE WAS ALL I NEEDED TO REMEMBER SUCH A REMARKABLE YOUNG MAN.
I WILL NEVER EVER FORGET HIM OR WHAT HE DID FOR OUR COUNTRY AND ME. I AM PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN WHO HAS THE CHANCE TO LIVE IN THE BEST PLACE IN THE WORLD AND JASON HELPED ME TO CONTINUE TO DO JUST THAT.
