Marlene Gardner Obituary

Marlene Claire Gardner Resident of Hayward, CA Jan 30, 1938 - Sept 11, 2010 Marlene Claire Gardner was born in Oakland, grew up in Alvarado, and resided in Hayward. She was a homemaker who was completely devoted to and loved her family. Family was her entire world. As a teen, she was the Queen of the Holy Ghost. Marlene loved to dance and fish, and play cards & board games with her family. She also loved camping and garage sales! She was a very intelligent woman and would be there for you in a heartbeat always willing to give you the shirt off her back. She was amazing. Marlene is survived by her husband John; devoted children Debra Gasper of Hayward, Dawn & Keith Rollins of Livermore, and Lori & Jeff Hanrahan of Oakdale. She is also survived by her grandchildren Chauntae & Ronny Thomas, Shannon Moretti, Bailey & Shealyn Hanrahan, Krissy & Steven Rollins, great grandchildren Andrew & Caitlyn Thomas, and sister Beverly Nunes of Hayward. Her generous and loving heart will always be remembered and has made her family so happy all of their lives. Friends & Family are invited to a visitation on Thursday, Sept 16, 2010 from 5-9 p.m., Rosary at 7 p.m. A funeral service and burial will be held on Friday, Sept. 17, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at: Chapel of the Chimes, Mission Chapel, 32992 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA 94544, 510-471-3363
